PRODUCT APPRAISAL/APPLICATION
Seed Germinator is most suitably designed & conceptualized for conducting variety of experiments on seeds within the laboratory without doing the on- site analysis in to the field under different environmental parameters of Temperature & Humidity. Artificial Environmental Parameters are created in the test chambers by creating desired conditions of Heating, Cooling, Humidification & cyclic Illumination conditions for conducting test in various agricultural labs.

CONSTRUCTION DETAILS
Seed Germinator is a Double Walled unit. (Dual Chamber) One chamber is fitted with cooling arrangement (temperature range 50 c to 500C), other chamber with heating arrangement (temperature from 50C above ambient to 500C). Each chamber has 14 trays & a separate self cooled Air Circulation system for uniform maintenance of the temperature throughout the chamber. Outer body of the unit is constructed out of thick Mild Steel Sheet/ PCRC sheet duly pre-treated with primers for rust proofing and painted with durable powder coating paint. The inner chamber is made of heavy gauge satin finish corrosion resistant Stainless Steel sheet. The gap in between the walls is filled with high grade mineral glass wool/PUFF Insulated which ensures maximum thermal efficiency in our units. Each Chamber/ unit is provided with two doors, the inner door is made up of thick clear plexi glass/acrylic glass so as to view the specimens without disturbing the temperature of the chamber. Insulated Front double walled door is made of mild steel sheet with inside of stainless steel & is lined with Quality magnetic gasket. Provided with lock and key arrangement. Whole unit is mounted on sturdy steel frame and is provided with castor wheels for easy movement inside the laboratory. Complete with 14 Nos. stainless steel Wire mesh shelves in each chamber.
ENVIRONMENTAL PARAMETERS TEMPERATURE (TEMPERATURE &HUMIDIFICATION)
HEATING
Quality Heating system is provided in the unit. Heating in the chambers is achieved by means of Quality Air heaters of suitable wattage. Heating element is placed in the path of moving air duly insulated from the body. To ensure utmost temperature sensitivity the warm air is evenly distributed throughout the chamber through Self Cooled Air Circulation fans.
COOLING
An energy efficient cooling unit is installed in one chamber of the seed germinator to enable bio chemical demand, cyclic and growth studies at lower room temperatures. We use ISI marked high end CFC free compressors of Kirloskar/Equivalent make, conforming to latest international standards and guidelines.
AIR CIRCULATION FAN
Each Chamber is provided with a separate self Cooled Air circulation system to maintain uniform temperature and humidity conditions throughout the chamber.
TEMPERATURE RANGE, TEMPERATURE CONTROL & SENSITIVITY
Temperature range of one chamber of the Seed Germinator is 5º c to 50ºc & the other chamber is from 5ºc above ambient to 50ºc. When all the tubes are ‘ON,’ temperature in cooling chamber can be obtained from 10/15 deg C to 50 deg C. The temperature is controlled through Micro-processor based PID Digital Temperature Controller Cum Indicator with a sensitivity of + 1 deg C/+ 2 deg C (approx.) or better.
HUMIDITY
Steam/Humidity generator is incorporated in the Seed germinator. Humidity is created and injected through a highly sophisticated module/arrangement & is generated by means of Stainless Steel Water Reservoir fitted with industrial grade heater & provided at the bottom. Humidity range in chambers 90% to 95% (non -adjustable) Arrangement exists only for increasing the humidity & not for decreasing the humidity.
ILLUMINATION & CYCLIC ILLUMINATION CONTROL THROUGH MICRO PROGRAMMABLE TIMER
Seed Germinator is provided with Illumination system comprising of fluorescent lights so as to enable the user to conduct the photo- periodic tests and experiments in an effective manner. The illumination is regulated through a solid state Digital Programmable Timer (LCD Display) to control the photoperiodic cyclic Illumination conditions inside the chamber.
FRONT CONTROL PANEL/POWER REQUIREMENT
Both the chambers have their individual control modules. Front Control panel of our units comprises of on/off switches heating, cooling and mains indicator lamps, Controllers. To work on 220 V, 1Ph, AC supply.
