PRODUCT APPRAISAL/APPLICATION

Hot Air Ovens are elegantly designed and fabricated to suit various application in ever-growing field of Medical, Agricultural and Industrial Research, for day to day heating, drying, sterilizing, baking etc in Laboratories, Hospitals & Industries.

BASIC CONSTRUCTION

Hot Air Oven is a double walled heating unit. Outer Chamber/body of the hot air oven is fabricated out of thick Mild Steel Sheet/PCRC sheet duly pre-treated with primers for rust proofing & and durably powder coated. The inner chamber is made of heavy gauge high Grade Stainless Steel sheet or Aluminum. The gap between the walls is filled with special grade mineral glass wool, which ensures maximum thermal efficiency in laboratory ovens. Inner chamber of our Hot Air Oven is incorporated with ribs for placing the shelves or trays at convenient levels. Door is lined with quality Gasket & is provided with the best Handle. Air Ventilators are placed near the top of both the sides to remove hot gases and fumes if any. The unit is provided with one to three stainless steel Wire Mesh shelves/Aluminium Trays depending upon the size of the Inner Chamber. Panel consists of Built in L-shape thermometer, pilot lamps and on-off switch. Suitable to work on 220V/230 Volts, single phase, 50 Hz, AC supply.

HEATING ELEMENTS

Heating elements are made of high quality nickel/chrome plated ni-chrome wire which are put inside beads or porcelain cups and placed at the bottom and in both the side ribs for uniform temperature all over the inner working area. The warm air is evenly distributed throughout the chamber through efficient motor fan (optional) ensuring very good temperature sensitivity.

TEMPERATURE RANGE

Temperature range of laboratory oven is 50C above ambient to 2500C max and is controlled by Hydraulic Thermostat with an accuracy of + 1/2deg0C (approx). Temperature control knob is graduated in centigrade

TEMPERATURE SENSITIVITY

Temperature inside oven is controlled with a sensitivity of + 10/20C (approx) or better.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL

The temperature inside the laboratory oven is controlled either through Hydraulic type Thermostat or optionally through Solid State Digital Temperature Controller Cum Indicator or Micro-processor based PID temperature controllers cum indicator (optional)

VENTILLATION

Air Ventilators are placed near the top of both the sides to remove hot gases and fumes if any.

FRONT CONTROL PANEL

Front panel of our unit comprises of On/Off Toggle switch, heating Indicator and mains indicator lamps, controller.

POWER REQUIREMENTS

Suitable to operate on 220 V, single phase, 50 Hz, AC supply.

ADVANCED OPTIONALS

  • Auto Process Control Unit. This is an advanced feature comprising of Microprocessor based PID Temperature controller cum Indicator with Built in Digital Timer with Buzzer. Temperature is controlled by Dual Display PID controller exhibiting PV (Process Value) and SV(Set Value). Once the Set Value is achieved the In Built Auto Digital Timer Mode starts its functioning & the equipment now operates for the process/time Set by the user or as required by the user & on completion of the process switches ‘off’ the heaters automatically & gives a Buzzer sound indicating that the process is complete.

  • Data Logger for Data Acquisition to log in temperature related details pertaining to Hot Air Oven with PC Connectivity by means of RS interface
