PRODUCT APPRAISAL/APPLICATION
Salt Spray Test Chamber and Cyclic Corrosion Test Chambers are made for testing corrosion resistant properties of metal parts, zinc plated nut and bolts, surface coating and paints. Samples are loaded inside the chamber under artificial corrosion environment so as to evaluate or predict the corrosion resistance of materials. Samples are examined under test at pre-determined period of time. Higher the corrosion resistivity longer will be the test time duration.
BASIC CONSTUCTION
Salt spray cabinet is a Double Walled unit. Outer body of the unit is constructed out of thick Stainless Steel sheet. The inner chamber is also made of heavy gauge satin finish corrosion resistant Stainless Steel sheet. These test chambers are ruggedly constructed with maintenance friendly design and suitable for testing as per IS / BS / ASTM and DIN standards. Exterior of these equipment are made of stainless steel sheet grade 304, while interior is made of thick stainless steel sheet of grade 304/ 316.
INSPECTION GLASS/UPPER COVER
Outer chamber of the salt spray chamber is incorporated with an inspection window/transparent Lid of plexi glass/Acrylic so as to observe the specimen under test without any disturbance to the inner test conditions.
TEMPERATURE RANGE
Temperature range of the unit is from ambient to 55 deg C. But the normal recommended working temperature is 35 deg C + 20C
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Temperature of the salt spray cabinet is maintained by Solid State Digital Programmable Temperature Controller Cum Indicator with Corrosion resistant Pt 100 sensor.
TEMPERATURE SENSTIVITY
Temperature of the salt spray chamber is controlled with a sensitivity of + 10C
