PRODUCT APPRAISAL/APPLICATION

Most versatile for Biochemical Oxygen Demand determinations and various experiments that require low-temperature condition like microorganism cultivation, cell culture process of animals and plants and desalting process of enzyme extract. Designed & conceptualized for bacteriological and bio chemical oxygen demand determination tests in various laboratories.

STANDARD FEATURES

Satin finish corrosion resistant Stainless Steel Interior
Sealed refrigeration unit is fitted at the bottom of the unit.
The Outer Door of the unit is provided with lock & key and inside is lined with magnetic gasket.
Two powerful blowers are provided at the back of the unit to maintain uniform temperature in the Inner working chamber.
Control panel with various controls & switches is provided in the front at the top of the unit for setting the desired working temperature.

CONSTRUCTION DETAILS

BOD Incubator is a double walled unit. Outer body of the Incubator is constructed out of thick Mild Steel Sheet/ PCRC sheet duly pre-treated with primers for rust proofing and painted with long lasting powder coating paint. The inner chamber is made of heavy gauge Satin finish corrosion resistant Stainless Steel sheet. The gap between the walls is filled with high grade mineral glass wool which ensures maximum thermal efficiency in the B O D Incubator. The unit is provided with two doors, the inner door is made of thick acrylic sheet/plexi glass so as to view the specimens without disturbing the temperature of the chamber. Front double walled Insulated door is made of mild steel sheet with inside lined with stainless steel & is incorporated with Quality magnetic gasket. Provided with lock and key arrangement. Whole unit is mounted on sturdy steel frame and is provided with castor wheels for easy movement inside the laboratory. Complete with two/three stainless steel shelves wire mesh shelves depending upon the size of the chamber in various permutations & combinations so as to suit individual specialized requirements. Provided with Air Circulation fan for uniform maintenance of the temperature throughout the chamber.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL

Temperature is controlled by Solid State Digital Temperature controller cum Indicator from 5⁰C to 50⁰C /60⁰C max with an accuracy of + 1⁰C (approx.)

HEATING

Quality Heating system is provided in the unit. Heating in the chamber is achieved by means of Quality heaters of suitable wattage. To ensure utmost temperature sensitivity the warm air is evenly distributed throughout the chamber through Self Cooled Air Circulation fans.

COOLING

An energy efficient cooling unit is installed in B O D Incubators to enable bio chemical demand studies at lower room temperatures. We use ISI Mark high end CFC free Kirloskar/Equivalent make Quality compressors conforming to latest international standards and guidelines.

TEMPERATURE RANGE & SENSITIVITY

Temperature range of BOD incubator is 5⁰C to 50⁰C & is controlled by Solid State Digital Temperature controller cum Indicator. Temperature inside the chamber is controlled with a sensitivity of + 1⁰C/+ 2⁰C (approx.) or better.

AIR CIRCULATION FAN

Back wall of the BOD Incubator shaker is triple walled & is incorporated with two self cooled Air circulation fans for uniformity of the temperature throughout the chamber.

ILLUMINATION

Units are provided with door operated illumination system.

FRONT CONTROL PANEL/POWER REQUIREMENT

Front Control panel of our units comprises of on/off switches heating, cooling and mains indicator lamps, temperature controllers. Suitable to operate on 220/230 Volts, 50 Hertz, AC supply.
